Stuck on a specific design decision or just want to walk through your home and talk ideas? Whether you’re choosing a new paint palette, can’t figure out how to arrange your living room or preparing to buy or sell a home, I’m here to provide home design guidance. These sessions are ideal when you need design direction and clarity without committing to a full-scale project.

    Whether you’re deciding between materials, evaluating a new home’s potential, or simply want to walk through ideas, this session offers one-on-one guidance to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

  • Choosing the perfect paint color can feel overwhelming - we make it simple. Using your style preferences and inspiration, I'll create a custom color palette that works beautifully throughout your space.

    How It Works:

    1. Before we meet: Complete a detailed intake form sharing your style, inspiration, and color preferences (takes about 10 minutes)

    2. On-site visit: I'll spend 60 minutes in your home reviewing your space, lighting, and finishes and we'll finalize your perfect palette together

    3. Within 24 hours: Receive a detailed summary with your final color selections, paint brands, codes, and sheen recommendations

    What's Included:

    • One cohesive color palette, including:

      • Primary wall color

      • Trim color

      • Ceiling color

    • This palette can be used throughout your entire home, or for one primary area

    • Paint brand recommendations, color codes, and finish/sheen guidance

    • Written summary delivered within 24 hours

  • The Furniture Space Planning Consultation helps you visualize your layout before making furniture purchases.

    You’ll receive a 2D to-scale floor plan that outlines ideal furniture sizes, recommended spacing between pieces, and minimum walkway clearances to achieve proper flow and proportion..

    Furniture Space Planning Includes:

    • 60-minute in-home visit to measure and discuss goals

    • Scaled digital furniture plan with optimal placement and circulation

    • Placement notes and key furniture dimensions

    • One round of revisions

    • 30-minute review call to walk through the layout and recommendations

    • Final PDF package with labeled floor plan and notes delivered within one week of site visit

How it Works

Initial Call

We’ll start with a quick 15-minute call to talk through your project and what you’re hoping to accomplish. During this call, I’ll get a high-level understanding of your goals, answer any questions you have about my services, and determine how many hours will best fit your needs. 

Payment Details

Consultations are billed in advance. Once we confirm the number of hours, you’ll receive an invoice that can be paid securely online via ACH or credit card.

Schedule Consultation

After payment is received, your consultation will be officially scheduled. I’ll follow up to gather any additional details, photos, or information needed so we can make the most of our time together.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Each consultation is booked for a minimum of two hours. Most clients find that 2–4 hours is the perfect amount of time for focused design guidance, but some projects may extend up to 8 hours depending on scope.

  • Anything related to your home design or furnishing goals. Common topics include paint colors, furniture layouts, finish selections, space planning, or reviewing a new home purchase or pre-sale prep. You’re welcome to send photos, floor plans, or inspiration images ahead of time so we can make the most of our time together.

  • Yes! Virtual consultations are available and take place over Zoom. Prior to your scheduled time, we may request photos, measurements, or any relevant details so we can make the most of our session together.

  • Absolutely, that’s one of the best times to bring a designer in. A Home Design Consultation before you begin can help you plan layouts, prioritize updates, and make smart design decisions from the start.

  • If time allows, additional hours can be added the same day and are billed in 15-minute increments. You’re also welcome to schedule another consultation for a later date if you’d like to continue the conversation.

    If your project begins to expand beyond an eight-hour scope, we’ll transition into full-service design. I’ll prepare a detailed proposal and scope of work so you know exactly what’s included before moving forward. Full service design is charged on a flat project rate.

  • Life happens! I completely understand. Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled consultation.

    Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to the one-hour minimum charge as liquidated damages for the time reserved exclusively for you.

    In the event of a no-show, a one-hour minimum charge will also apply.
